1 Meath Mart, Meath Street
I am so excited to tell you guys about this serious hidden gem in the heart of Dublin – LEGIT Coffee Co. is gorgeous both in terms of its food and coffee, and also it’s decor. The cafe was buzzing on a Saturday morning and was the perfect coffee spot after a lovely morning spent wandering around Meath St with my mum.
The energy when you walk into LEGIT is electric and there was such a good buzz on this sunny morning. The cakes on offer look divine and their sandwiches scribbled on a chalk board sound delish.
I opted for a white coffee and a Madeleine as I had had a big breakfast. Mum opted for a white coffee and almond croissant. Folks, what can I say. The coffee was so good and my Madeleine was the perfect little sweet treat – I was in heaven. Mum’s croissant was so good no butter or jam was needed. I took a seat looking out at the street and happily chatted with mum whilst watching the world go by.
The cafe is bigger than it looks with some very cute seating areas towards the back, be sure to have a nose. The staff were so friendly and the overall experience was just perfect.
There is a little something magical about LEGIT – even on a busy Saturday morning I still felt so relaxed sipping on my coffee.
I cannot wait to return – this time I’m planning on having a small breakfast so that I can fully enjoy their cakes! Also to note, they had gorgeous looking Chia pudding and granola pots displayed so I have a feeling this is a great spot for breakfast or lunch… or both!
Kim’s tip – the table by the window is the perfect spot for some people watching so try nab it if it’s free!
