Calle Castelló 12
Fonty Bistro is on the street where I used to live and I regularly walked by but never ventured in. When my brother came to visit we were looking for a close by breakfast stop before we started our busy day of sight-seeing and Fonty met the bill.
This café come restaurant is quirky with friendly staff and delicious cakes
On our visit, I opted for a café manchado (surprise surprise) and a dark chocolate palmera = the perfect combination.
Although not the cheapest breakfast option in Madrid, their breakfast menu is delicious and the café is gorgeous inside. If you are wandering around the neighbourhood why not pop in and give Fonty’s a try.
Kim’s tip: try nab the table by the window so that you watch the world go by
Hi Kim,
I see you are looking after the little brother then. Mumsy will be so pleased.
Great photos. Lighting is wonderful.
